I signed my first ever book today for the Financial Director at Explore, Mr Mike Tyler. He's a bit of a card for a bean counter and made me sign it "Love, the big red tomato" - it's a long standing joke we have! Still, it was wonderful to sign that first book. The satisfaction that I've finally seen something through to completion started as a warm glow in my toes and then spread throughout, leaving me feeling very elated.
And finally, to complete the trio, the Little Child paperback is now available WORLDWIDE ONLINE from all good stockists - Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Waterstones, W.H. Smiths, Play, Tesco books, Chapters & Blackwell's to name just a few...!
Please don't be put off by negative delivery messages as my Publisher is print on demand which means we are never out of stock! We just can't control what they advertise, that's all.
Thanks for all your support thus far and I hope you enjoy my debut xxx

I cried when I saw the book jacket proof, but this experience was something else. I don't think you can beat the feeling!

My website has been officially launched and there are a few excerpts from Little Child to whet the appetite available under the Little Child header. The ebook is also imminent...! Right now I'm doing html coding on my site woo hoo - learning all the time...
The first sentence of the blurb hooked me in with this book - it struck a chord!
Contemporary fiction alluding to current affairs - at least five or six references. At first I wasn't sure about the author's style - sometimes sounding corny and then other times, amazing pieces of writing that really resonated with me.
I could relate to something said on page 38 - deflecting undue attention by inviting people to talk about themselves / keeping people at arm's length.
On page 59 - taking refuge in laughter.
Page 65 - the best of a relationship is often carried out in one's head - interesting concept.
Page 307 - George has had a stroke and her inventive exchange with Alice is endearing. Beautifully written!
Finally, in Chapter 56 - the events played out in reviews, letters and press releases is a genius idea.
Blogging is an amazing concept so here I am giving it a whirl. You'll get words. You'll get pics. Sometimes a vid or two. You'll get tongue in cheek, the odd humble opinion and an honest insight into my travels and writing life. Maybe even a few gems along the way. I'll be musing on home turf as I see more and more of the UK and sharing my experiences further afield on holidays and adventurous trips across the globe.
