Crimbo prep

Halfway through the month and I'm trying not to overload myself with engagements and prep for Christmas. After a busy week, I chilled out yesterday in my pjs listening to Buble and Sintra, Christmassy scented candles, fine glass of red and writing all of my cards. It was heaven and I felt super content in my home with the kitties.

I guess this could be classed as self care / self love. As you know, I find this such an alien concept when it comes to applying it to myself. Hopefully I might be getting the hang of it!

Gracie has finally been neutered so she can go outside soon. I can't wait for her to be able to. She needs that extra exploration having been couped up in the house for 6 months. Misty, my older cat, bought me a dead mouse on Saturday. She hasn't brought me any presents for ages haha

The tree and decs are all up, we had a muted (but still lovely) farewell party for my friend who is leaving, my CPN has referred me for my assessment for trauma stabilisation therapy now that I'm in a better place to take part and I spent the weekend with friends which was lush. On Sunday I was walking in Wraysbury near Windsor with two of my closest friends and as you can see from the pic, it was pretty muddy!

Aside from my regular yoga practice, it was great to have my hair cut and coloured, have a massage and acupuncture, make my two regular donations to charity for Christmas and, in a bid to have minimal medication in my house in case of a dissociative relapse and more overdosing, I gave my counsellor the excess meds to dispose of. It's a pain in the bum only being allowed weekly prescriptions but I know it's the right thing to do for the moment.
